  • Driver/handler meeting is at 5:45
  • Racing to follow immediately.

The Rules

  • Both right side tires will the Hoosier A35-NY1 compound
  • Left side tires are must meet the USAC requirements
  • Only two sets of right side tires may be used for all seven races.
  • Once the right side tire from the first set is changed to the second set, you may not go back to the original tire.
  • Right side tires will be marked, and recorded.
  • If a racing incident causes any right side tire to go flat, you will be allowed to change the tire to the second set and continue the race. If the incident occurs on the second set of tires, you will be allowed to change back to your first set.
  • If you manage to puncture both sets of tires due to a racing incident, you will be allowed a new tire. However, you will be given 10 points less than normally earned.
  • If a tire is changed that is not because of a racing incident, the driver will start in the rear of their next race and will be awarded 0 points for that racing event.
  • $20 for the first car for DQMRC members, $15 per additional car.
  • $25 for the first car for USAC members, $20 per additional car
  • $40 per car for Non-USAC members. Non-USAC members may only race one event
  • Limited to three cars per driver
  • Heat race line ups determined by pill draw
  • Features determined by heat race and lower main “qualifying”. Heads up for features.
  • Fuel must be USAC legal as well and must be purchased at Turkey Hill which is located one block west of the track

The Points

  • Points will be awarded for feature races only
  • A driver with a DNF will be awarded the points for the position they are credited
  • A driver that receives a black flag will be awarded one less point than last place in that race
  • A DNS/DNA will be awarded points for the position they are credited
  • The first driver that doesn’t transfer from the b main will receive two less points than last place, the second driver who doesn’t transfer from the b main will receive three less points than last place, and so on until every driver in every main is awarded points
  • A driver DQ’d after the race will receive 0 points
  • A tie will be broken by best finish (whoever finished 1stthe most, if the tie continues whoever finished 2ndthe most, and so on) and then by finishing order of the last race the two tying drivers raced together
  • This series is a “drop two” series. So, 5/7 races count. If one race is cancelled, 4/6 races count, and so on.
